SRA Code of Conduct IB 2.2 says law firms should provide their people with “training and information about complying with equality and diversity requirements”. Chapter 2 of the Code of Conduct lays down detailed equality and diversity obligations for lawyers and their firms.

Version 1: for all staff. This is the standard version, suitable for anyone. CPD accredited by the SRA (30 minutes, including quiz).
Version 2: for those involved in management and recruitment. This goes into more detail on the issues that arise when recruiting, managing people, or setting policy. Suitable for partners and other senior members of staff. Provides 45 minutes’ CPD credit, including the quiz.
SRA Code of Conduct (Code, IB 2.1) requires your firm to have an equality and diversity policy which meets various detailed requirements.
So at no extra charge we provide you with a precedent. It is fully annotated to help you swiftly adapt it to the circumstances of your firm.
