We are repeating our masterclass for MLROs this May, and adding another for COLPs.
Tuesday 9 May, at the Law Society in London
Thursday 11 May, at the Holiday Inn, Manchester
Content: You can choose to attend either or both of the following:
Morning: How to be a MLRO
Recent changes including the fourth EU directive, PSC registers for companies and trusts, the extended definition of PEPs, changes at the NCA, and more. Measure your practices against a compliance checklist. Running identification checks smoothly and efficiently. Source of funds enquiries; what is really required? What you can and should be delegating. Making a report and consent to proceed. Replete with case studies and horror stories.
Afternoon: How to be a COLP
A clear and practical explanation of exactly what you should be doing as COLP, and the most efficient way to organise your role. Plus a practical run through the compliance rules that really make a difference, and the systems adopted by the best run firms. How to organise your firm not only to ensure compliance, but to maximise efficiency and profitability. Includes mini-case studies, and a chance to discuss your experiences and benchmark your practices against your peers.
The normal price is £180 for one session, or £320 for firms that want to book both (plus VAT).
But for firms which are Socrates subscribers this is discounted to £150 for one session, or £260 for both.
